Blog Assignment 4

"Charlie longed to take off and get some breathing room for a few minutes to escape the pressure-cooker vibe. And she knew that once Allie was in the air, she’d feel better too.
“Okay, Okay, fine. I’m not wussing out,” Allie sighed.
“Let’s fly.”" (Lisi Harrison, Movers & Fakers, Page 4)

A event that takes place in the beginning of this novel is when Charlie is too scared to take flight in a plane that is abnormally small. I can relate to this because I remember when I was about 6,  I was offered a ride in my uncles small propeller plane but I balled my eyes out the whole time having a small case of claustrophobia. While reading this section of the novel I visualized this event that took place in my personal life to this event in the book. Also this event relates to other events that take place in the book. The connections I made are text-to-self and text-to-text while reading Movers & Fakers.
